was organized and incorporated in 1998 by a group of faculty members from the Department of Social Sciences, College of Arts and Sciences at the University of the Philippines Manila. Our organizers have post-graduate degrees and have taken advanced training in research methodologies in the Philippines and abroad.

     As social scientists with skills and track record in research and training, our incorporators have set up the FORUM CENTER to share our expertise with private organizations and the general public. Our organizers have conducted research and training activities for private and public organizations. Our researches and training programs have been funded both by local and international organizations like the World Health Organization, the USAID, and the Harvard Institute for International Development.
